Ferrari F430 Scuderia

We've been following for some time what we thought would be called the new F430 Challenge Stradale, but Ferrari has instead decided to name it the F430 Scuderia. Regardless of what it's called, this new F430 joins the coupe and spyder, yet takes a decidedly harder, more track-oriented edge than its siblings. The car weighs around 100kg (220 lbs.) less than the standard F430 coupe, and its version of Ferrari's 4.3L V8 produces 510 horsepower instead of 483. That gives the Scuderia a frighteningly low power-to-weight ratio of 1 horsepower for every 5.4 lbs.

Maserati GranSport

It's a familiar formula these days: Take an already exotic $100,000 machine (specifically, in this case, $98,172), simplify the interior, improve the aerodynamics, stiffen the suspension, and add a little more power. The result is promoted as a "more focused" sports car. What's trying to be conveyed is the direct link between the model you drive and those that are raced, an association for which you would be prepared to pay more.

Maybach 57S

There is no way that Mercedes (Chrysler) can match Rolls Royce. It's like comparing KIA with Bentley. Although the Maybach 57S falls under the same categorie as Rolls Royce it will never match the ego of the spirit of ecstasy. The Maybach interior wise just looks like any other Benz, even the car it self has some Benz "DNA". Not as pricey as the Rolls Royce i still would prefer going with RR than Chrysler.

Rolls Royce Phantom

The name says it all... the Phantom doesn't need to be introduce it does it itself. With a V-12 6.75 litres engine producing 450 hp and 530 torque the Phantom is one power machine. You might think it's noisy but the 6 speed automatic transmission is tuned to start in second gear, to reduce unseemly jerkiness in acceleration, and to shift smoothly at fairly low revs. Getting up to speed is easy and smooth from 0-100 km/h less than 6 sec. Top speed is irrelevant to us. 90% of Rolls Royce owners do most of their driving, although having a chauffeur is part of luxury life. The coach doors eases the getting in and out of the Phantom with umbrellas for the rear doors, in case sir or madam don't want to get wet. The interior design is another elegant engineering from Rolls Royce engineers with the chrome, wood and hand stitched leather is simply of the highest grade assembly. With it's top of the line Harmon-Kardon sound system with 2 12" LCD screens you'll never want to go to a theater anymore.
